A Revolutionary Idea for a Transformative Society
At its core, antispeciesism is a revolutionary idea that, if correctly applied, would lead to a radical deconstruction and transformation of human society. It challenges the deeply ingrained belief that human interests are inherently superior to those of other animals. Without this grounding, Fragano argues, the concept risks degenerating, being co-opted, “domesticated,” or exploited by the opportunism that dominates contemporary society.

The English edition of Antispeciesist Manifesto was published on July 19, 2026. The translation, described as “excellent and timely,” was handled by Tina Ferrari.
